As a public transportation rider I understand the upset and disappointment of people when they need a connecting bus and as soon as they get close, the other bus pulls off. I’ve been in situations where the bus driver has blown the horn vigorously to get the attention of a fellow bus driver and with no luck, the driver speeds away. No one wants to wait in the cold, rain, or sweltering heat for another bus arrive. Wouldn’t it be great if the NFTA had a special horn sound so all the drivers would know that another passenger wants to board their bus. It would be a sort of pattern on the horn so other drivers know that it is a passenger and not just a regular horn. This would guarantee more satisfied customers of the NFTA bus and rail system.
